The Squaw Creek Course at Avalon Golf & CC is a par 72 championship design that stretches to almost 7400 yards from the back tees. This upscale property is part of the Avalon Lakes complex, featuring 54 holes of golf and upscale amenities.
On property is a practice facility with range, short game area with sand bunker plus putting green. The clubhouse features a pro shop, locker rooms with showers, and bar & grill. Directions:
Take RT 480 to RT 422 to Warren. Then take the by-pass, which is RT 5 & 82, until by-pass ends as RT 82. Then cross over RT 46 to top of hill. At the first stop light (which is Howland Wilson Rd) make left. Proceed 1/2 mile to the dead end. Make right turn and go approx. 1/2 mile. On left hand side, look for entrance sign "Chop House" or "Avalon Lakes Golf Course".
