Legendary Run located in a suburban residential community in south east Cincinnati and is known locally as the friendliest golf course in he world. It is not only a well kept, player friendly course, the staff throughout the clubhouse- pro shop to restaurant /bar - provides very friendly service. The course is an 18 hole 6920 yard championship design to be enjoyed by golfers at any skill level, and may be priced as the best value in the area.
On course 100, 150, 200 and 250 yard markers are posted on the cart paths with a 150 stake in the middle of the fairways measured to the center of the greens for par fours and fives. Sprinkler heads are marked and measured to the front, center and back of the greens. Daily pin placement sheets with six possible hole locations are included on all carts.
There are 5 sets of tees that play to distances and slopes measuring 6920 yards/129 slope, 6610 yards/125 slope, 6282 yards/121 slope, 5800 yards/117 slope and 4923 yards with a slope of 117 for women from the forward sets. 43 soft sand bunkers are situated near greensides and along some fairways, and water hazards come into play on 10 of the holes at this beautiful golf course.
Scorecards include hole by hole descriptions with pictures of every hole and tips on how to approach them. Plenty of trees, and water hazards on course will challenge any golfer. All 5 par 3's, including the 19th, feature water hazards which must be carried to reach the greens. Mounding and elevation changes provide difficult lies on all par fours and fives throughout the course.
After 18 holes, golfers can play the 19th hole on the way back to the clubhouse - a short par 3, not on the score card. The clubhouse features a stocked pro shop, a full bar and restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a banquet facility which serves 200 people. On property there is a practice facility including a grass targeted driving range, a short game area with sand bunker and a large practice putting green.
