Stretching over 167 acres of naturally wooded, rolling terrain, Bent Tree Golf Club is one of the best championship courses in central Ohio. Designed by Dennis Griffiths, this top rated golf course features bent grass tees, fairways and greens, as well as many bunkers and abundant water. Four sets of tees afford golfers of all skill levels to enjoy a fair yet challenging experience.
Facilities on property include an 18-hole course, clubhouse, and practice facilities. The elegant clubhouse features a relaxing outdoor patio, a grill room for casual dining and a beautiful banquet facility for up to 200 guests, and a pro shop. A full practice area includes putting and chipping greens with sand bunker plus targeted grass driving range.
On course 100, 150 and 200 yard markers are posted on the fairways of all par fours and fives. Hole location info is provided for with color coded flags on the greens indicating front, middle and back pin placements. There are 51 bunkers situated along fairways and green side to contend with, and water comes into play on six holes.
Beautifully sculpted fairways wind around and over hilly mounded terrain, with slight elevation changes from tee to green. The green complexes are only slightly raised with gentle mounding and bunkers that protect against bump and run approach shots. The putting surfaces slope slightly from back to front with mild undulation. Most of the ponds block the most direct path from the tee to green and golfers should be prepared to carry water.
The course features 4 sets of tee areas with the tips playing to 6642 yards with a 122 slope. Alternate sets measure in distance and slope - 6239 yards/119 slope, 6239 yards 116 slope, and 5110 yards with a slope of 113 for women hitting from the front tees. This player friendly course features only one par four over 400 yards- the 422 yard 5th, and on par three over 200 yards- the 214 yard 13th.
