The Sanctuary Golf Club opened its new course for play in July 2002. The course was designed by local golf course architect Brian Huntley. The Sanctuary course now includes 18 new Bent grass greens, tees, and fairways, plus 5 entirely new holes and many new and rebuilt bunkers. The par 71 course has 5 tee boxes and provides a fair and interesting challenge for golfers of all levels.
The clubhouse features a pro shop stocked with apparel and accessories, and a snack bar. There is a practice putting green for golfers to get used the putting surfaces on course, and a hitting net for a full swing warm up.
