On property is a practice facility with range, short game area with sand bunker plus putting green. The clubhouse features a pro shop, locker rooms with showers, and bar & grill. DIRECTIONS

Take RT 480 to RT 422 to Warren. Then take the by-pass, which is RT 5 & 82, until by-pass ends as RT 82.  Then cross over RT 46 to top of hill.  At the first stop light (which is Howland Wilson Rd) make left.  Proceed 1/2 mile to the dead end.  Make right turn and go approx. 1/2 mile.   On left hand side, look for entrance sign "Chop House" or "Avalon Lakes Golf Course".
